After spending a year writing my book, Secret Chicago, it’s been fun to finally share the book with readers and hear their feedback. Last Saturday, Mike Stephen of WGN’s Outside the Loop Radio podcast invited me on the show.
Outside the Loop Radio covers topics that don’t always get attention in the media, featuring interviews with Chicago newsmakers artists, and more. Mike often talks about exploring Chicago’s hidden gems on the show, so I was excited to join him. We chatted about some of Chicago’s secret and unusual spots and why we feel exploring the city is important.
