Secret Chicago Printable Calendar – November 2024

Promontory Point during the fall in Chicago

Chicago is having a gorgeous fall this year. The yellow and orange leaves are popping and the weather couldn’t be nicer. Here’s hoping winter will hold off as long as possible!

One of my favorite places to enjoy autumn in Chicago is Promontory Point. The 40-acre park is located on a man-made peninsula in Hyde Park. Promontory Point is part of Burnham Park located along the shore of Lake Michigan. With landscape architecture by Alfred Caldwell, easy access to swimming, and Chicago skyline views, Promontory Point is as popular today as when it was completed in 1938.
