The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Summertime Chi!
The arrival of June means many things in Chicago. Street festivals and block parties are popping up nearly daily. The days are longer, and Chicagoans are soaking up the sun in parks and on patios. We celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride all year in Chicago, but June offers multiple parades, festivals, and celebrations.
In honor of Pride Month, the June calendar features a sculpture from the iconic artist and gay activist Keith Haring. The 30-foot sculpture greets you at AIDS Garden Chicago, honoring AIDS victims and survivors, along the lakefront in Lakeview.
What is your favorite Pride tradition?
