Can you feel it? Summer is in the air, and the June calendar is here to help you make every day count.
This month, we’re soaring high above Streeterville with the gold onion-shaped dome of the InterContinental Chicago hotel. It is rumored to have harbored airships, but that’s not quite true. The cupola was designed in 1929 with a chimney and extension pole to moor airships, but they fell out of favor and no airship ever moored to the roof of any building in the country. Read more about the history and hidden gems inside InterContinental Chicago here.
Wishing you a June filled with blue skies!
