Secret Chicago Printable Calendar – July 2025

Glasner Studio brick wall with tiles

Summer is certainly heating up in Chicago. Between temperatures in the 90s and packed events calendars, it’s been scorching so far.

This month’s calendar celebrates the art and history hidden in plain view around Chicago. One of the city’s most prolific artists of the twentieth century, Edgar Miller, created works that spanned decades and artistic mediums. While much of his work is in private homes, you can find it hidden in spaces like the InterContinental Hotel and the University of Chicago.

Download the calendar here.

This brick wall in Old Town attracts passersby with its playful tiles. The reclaimed tiles embedded in the brick wall are just a hint of the masterpieces behind the gate at Glasner Studio. You can take a virtual tour here and learn more about Edgar Miller in my book Secret Chicago.
