How are we halfway through the year? This month, I’ll be busy checking things off my Chicago summer bucket list like grabbing Italian lemonade at Mario’s and grooving to music in Millennium Park.
While you’re out and about, you might be surprised to stumble on a pyramid in Bronzeville—especially at night because it glows in the dark!
This solar powered pyramid was a collaboration between Comed, a local artist, and local students. Each side of the pyramid features modern hieroglyphics representing the students—some chose a basketball, a butterfly, or a lightbulb. It’s located in a sculpture garden on 47th Street.
