D During the ongoing pandemic, I’ve been trying to inspire people to explore close to home by featuring things to see while social distancing. I was so excited when Cortney Hall and Matt Rodrigues of NBC’s Chicago Today show invited me to share some outdoor spots from my book Secret Chicago on their show!

It was such a blast to film with the Chicago Today crew on location at the Oakland Museum of Contemporary Art. Talking about a place is one thing, but getting to explore it together was so special. We even got to meet some of the late artist’s neighbors and hear about how his work impacted the neighborhood. Cortney, Matt, and the rest of the team were so much fun to work with!
