After spending a year in lockdown, working on this book gave me the opportunity to reconnect with Chicago. I applied my years of research, countless hours of exploring, and passion for Chicago to this joyful project. Writing more than 300 riddles was a challenge, but I hope you have as much fun solving them as I had crafting them!
I hope this book inspires you to seek the thrill of discovery in Chicago’s unique and diverse neighborhoods, whether you’re visiting or getting back out in the city you call home. I hope it offers families, friends, and colleagues a fun way to get together again and explore.
