The corn dog has returned. It’s a staple at any summer festival, but Lollapalooza is no neighborhood street fair and Graham Elliot’s lobster corn dog topped with lemon aioli is a gourmet take on the deep-fried favorite.
For the third consecutive year, Elliot has assembled an eclectic lineup of food vendors at Lollapalooza’s Chow Town. His signature corn dog will be featured at Grahamwhich, who will join over thirty additional vendors to serve the 90,000 person crowds each day of the three-day festival this August.
In addition to debating their concert schedules, fest goers will face a diverse range of eating options. After choosing between highbrow burgers by Kuma’s Corner, Edzo’s Burger Shop, and MBurger try artisan donuts for dessert by Do-Rite Donuts. Visitors can indulge in notable names including Gibsons Restaurant Group and Mercat a la Planxa or opt for Chicago classics like Lou Malnati’s and Robinson’s No. 1 Ribs. Those craving a breadth of flavors can taste Chizakaya, Lagniappe ‘s Creole Cajun, or Kamehachi.
If you prefer your fest fare farm-to-table, look no farther than the Lolla Farmer’s Market. Booths will include Brunkow Cheese, Puffs of Doom, and Rock ‘n Roll Noodle Company as well as organic produce from farms in Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Similar to Lolla’s extensive musical lineup, Elliot and company have got your culinary needs covered, whatever your taste.
